Why Different Hair Needs Different Brushes?

Just as no two heads of hair are exactly the same, the brush you use shouldn’t be the same either.

Hair varies enormously in thickness, texture, curl pattern, density and strength. A brush that works perfectly on fine, straight hair may cause unnecessary pulling and breakage on thick, curly or fragile hair.

Fine hair generally benefits from softer, more flexible bristles that minimise tension. Thick or coarse hair often needs a stronger brush capable of moving through greater density, while curly hair requires particular care to avoid disrupting the natural curl pattern or causing breakage.

The condition of the hair matters too. Damaged, thinning or newly transplanted hair needs especially gentle handling.

The right brush should move through the hair without excessive pulling, snapping or stress on the scalp. Choosing your brush according to your individual hair type is a small change that can make a significant difference to how healthy your hair looks and feels.

Different hair has different needs — and your hairbrush should reflect that.
