Hair-loss is an ongoing condition, it doesn’t stop but it can slow down. It’s a fact that the earlier you start losing your hair, the more hair you’re going to lose. So the problem with a hair transplant for men and women is that the more hair you lose the less natural can will look. The risk is that you build a hair transplant on shifting sand.
The skill in designing a hair transplant is to ensure that a hair transplant looks natural as soon as it’s carried out and at any point in the future no matter how much hair an individual loses.
Most of our patients will have more than one transplant as they lose more hair overtime. So we are able to check on the previous transplant as time goes by. Every patient is encouraged to come back to see us for a free checkup at any time. But the beauty of a hair transplant that’s carried out to a high standard is that you can forget about your hair-loss once the transplant has grown. That’s exactly what some people do.
It takes 18 months for a hair transplant to fully grow. After that time you will lose more hair, but your hair transplant will not change. So anyone patient who hasn’t been seen by us for over 2 years will receive a phone call from us to ask whether or not they’re still happy work the outcome of their hair transplant.

Paradigm Clinic is only based in Belfast, on Lisburn Road. Its has its own team who carry out every hair transplant together. The team have a combined hair transplant experience of almost 80 years.
