Brendan Fogarty – Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon Belfast

Mr Brendan Fogarty is Paradigm Clinic’s medical director. He is a consultant plastic surgeon based at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast and Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

With more than 25-years’ experience in plastic surgery, Mr Fogarty has extensive knowledge of hair transplantation techniques and procedures. He heads up Paradigm’s highly-trained and experienced medical and technical team.

When considering hair-transplantation surgery, one of the most important decisions to be made is knowing exactly who will be operating on you. Factors to be considered include the skill level offered and qualifications achieved – combined with the amount of experience that has been gathered in the field.

Mr Fogarty is focussed on dedicated, patient-centred care, matching his technical and
surgical expertise with interpersonal skill and outstanding medical credentials.

He is a leading expert in the repair of scar-tissue, and, as a hair-transplantation surgeon, has a particular interest in working with challenging cases cause by complex scarring. These include both scalp and eyebrow injuries resulting in scar-related hair-loss.

As a consultant surgeon in the NHS, Mr Fogarty works to the highest ethical and medical
standards. He is also a trainer and examiner for trainee plastic surgeons who are entering the final FRCS (Plast) accreditation examination.

Mr Fogarty’s special interests include scalp reconstruction in major trauma and aesthetic hair restoration. He is also a leading expert in repairing transplants which have fallen-short of ideal standards.

Paradigm patients can be assured that Mr Fogarty and his clinicians operate to exacting
medical standards with patient care being the priority on every level.

Mr Fogarty is also a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and is a mentor to junior consultant plastic surgeons.
